If music causes your heart to beat 1,250 times a minute, it could be the beautiful hummingbird inside you trying to dance out.... or you could be having a real massive coronary.

What’s New in 2008?

Dancing seems to be a constant in all of our lives. We dance in celebration and when things aren’t so hot. So as we start up our new sessions, we at the Blitz truly appreciate your support. We say it, cause we mean it – Thank you for making us part of your daily life.

Here’s a heads-up on what’s going on at the Blitz.

The Latin Workout is proving to be a bigger hit than we thought. The class has maintained a good following, which results in a fast-paced energy that keeps it all flowing from the warm-up to the cool down. Fifty bucks lasts six sessions. Suchadeal!

Argentine Tango returns to the Blitz. We are excited to introduce this sultry, expressive style of dance to our spring line-up.

Adult Basic 101 is our bread and butter class. It starts up again April 16th (5:30-7pm) and introduces the basics of Swing, Salsa, Waltz, Foxtrot, and Tango. This 101 class is a pre-requisite for our AB102 class, which is on Thursdays (April 17th @ 7pm). So if you loved 101 and want to continue, consider this class as your steppingstone.

Another class worthy of mention is our Wednesday headliner class – Texas Two-Step (April 16th @ 8pm). While you may not be a country western fan, this dance is a lot of fun, and we guarantee you will benefit greatly by having it in your dance repertoire.

As mentioned AB102 is on Thursday’s from 7-8:30pm, and right after is International Waltz (April 17th @ 8:30pm). It is known for it sophistication and regal grace. A true European import, International Waltz is suave as the shape of a Martini glass, as smooth as the ride of a Rolls, and as stately as ballroom itself. Come on in Thursday’s for a taste of the high life!
